The Family Store with So Much More

Merwin Mason Supply Co.,Inc. was started in 1970 in an old tobacco barn in South Windsor. It later moved to the Chapel Road location where it is today. The company was started by Merwin Pola and his family with just one small pickup truck. Today we have a large showroom and a fleet of trucks with fork-lift unloaders for fast and safe delivery. We are still a family run company and strive to keep that "small business" quality that that gives you the outstanding, personal service you have grown to know and appreciate for the past 30 years. Wine Cellar made from Cultured Stone from Merwin Mason SupplyDesign Creativity

Cultured Stone may be used in many ways to create a unique space and a unique feel. And because it is natural stone, it will act just like stone. Here is a testimonial from one of our clients who used Cultured Stone to create a very special space:

Merwin, here are a few views of my wine cellar made with your cultured stone. The stone reduced the temperature in the room about ten degrees from before it was built. It’s a walk-out basement, so it gets hot in the summer. I also put an air conditioner in the wall – you can see the fake wood cabinet which hides the unit hanging on the extreme left of the ‘wine cellar tables’ photo.

The wood is old barn board from a barn in Suffield. The hinges are retro ‘Tuscan’ hinges I got from mail order. The floor is blue stone. The cellar is 11’ x 13’ and can hold about 600 bottles of wine.
